Getting started
Most businesses are fully set up in under 5 minutes. Sign up, pay with PayPal, add your employees by name, visit your job site and tap "Set as job site" — that's it. Your team can start clocking in immediately.
No. AcquiClock works entirely in any web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, anything. Employees just go to acquiclock.com, create their account, and bookmark it. No app store, no downloads, no updates.
Tell your employees your exact business name — that's their join code. They go to acquiclock.com, click "Employee Sign Up," type in your company name exactly as you registered it, and create their account with their own email and password. They're added to your roster automatically.
Any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a modern web browser and GPS capability. iPhone and Android both work. For GPS to function on a phone, location permissions must be enabled for the browser — the app will prompt for this automatically.
GPS & Location
The geofence radius is set at 50 feet by default. GPS accuracy varies by device and environment — newer smartphones with GPS chips are typically accurate to 10–15 feet outdoors. In buildings or areas with poor signal, accuracy may be slightly less precise.
The system uses the device's native GPS and browser location API, which makes spoofing significantly harder than most apps. Location is verified on every clock-in and clock-out, not just once. While no system is 100% spoof-proof, AcquiClock makes unauthorized clock-ins far more difficult than traditional systems.
Only the manager/account owner can set the job site. Go to the Settings tab in your dashboard, visit the physical job location, and tap "Set current location as job site." Employees have no ability to change this setting.
Growth plan and above support multiple job sites. You can update the job site pin from Settings whenever your crew moves to a new location. Enterprise plan supports unlimited simultaneous job sites.
Billing & Plans
You pay a flat monthly fee based on your plan using PayPal. There are no per-employee charges, no per-clock-in fees, and no hidden costs. Your first 14 days are free.
Yes. Contact us at acquiclock@gmail.com and we'll update your plan. Upgrades take effect immediately. There are no penalties for changing plans.
Yes, no contracts, no cancellation fees. Email us at acquiclock@gmail.com to cancel and we'll stop future billing. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
The system will prevent you from adding more employees beyond your plan's limit. You'll see a message suggesting an upgrade. Contact us and we'll move you to a higher plan immediately so you don't lose any time.
Using the app
Managers can delete incorrect entries from the Activity Log in the dashboard. We're working on a manual adjustment feature for future releases. In the meantime, contact us at acquiclock@gmail.com if you need help correcting records.
Go to the Activity Log tab in your dashboard and click "Export CSV." This downloads a spreadsheet with every employee's clock-in and clock-out times, dates, and total duration. It works with Excel, Google Sheets, and most payroll software.
Yes. All clock-in/out records, employee lists, and settings are saved automatically in your browser's local storage. They persist across sessions on the same device. We recommend exporting your CSV regularly as a backup, especially before clearing your browser data.
