Acquired Staffing & Payroll ("we," "us," or "our") operates AcquiClock. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service. By using AcquiClock, you agree to the practices described in this policy.


2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and plan details provided during registration
  • Employee information — employee names and email addresses added by account holders
  • Location data — GPS coordinates checked at the moment of clock-in or clock-out. We do not continuously track location
  • Time records — clock-in and clock-out timestamps and durations
  • Payment information — payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store credit card or banking details

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the AcquiClock service
  • Verify employee location at clock-in and clock-out
  • Send account confirmation and transactional emails
  • Respond to support requests and inquiries
  • Improve and maintain the Service

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.


4. Location Data

AcquiClock requests GPS location from the user's device only at the moment an employee attempts to clock in or clock out. Location data is used solely to verify proximity to the registered job site.

We do not store GPS coordinates beyond what is needed for verification. Location data is processed in the user's browser and is not transmitted to our servers for storage. Account holders are responsible for obtaining appropriate employee consent for location verification in accordance with applicable employment laws.


5. Data Storage

Time records, employee lists, and account settings are stored in the browser's local storage on the device used to access the Service. This means:

  • Data is stored on your device, not on our servers
  • Clearing your browser data will remove stored records
  • Data is not automatically synced across devices
  • We recommend regularly exporting your data via the CSV export feature

6. Third-Party Services

AcquiClock uses the following third-party services:

  • PayPal — for payment processing. PayPal's privacy policy governs payment data
  • EmailJS — for sending transactional emails. Email content is transmitted through EmailJS servers

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All pages are served over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.


8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at acquiclock@gmail.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days.


9. Children's Privacy

AcquiClock is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
